Position Overview

• Industry leading mechanical contractor seeking experienced Project Manager that is familiar with the mechanical industry. This client specializes in mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and industrial pipe-fitting in the greater middle Tennessee area.
• Their main focus is on replacement and retrofit projects of facilities, which often times require the ability to read blueprints and engineered drawings. Qualified candidates should be comfortable running projects from $10,000 to $10,000,000
  
  

Responsibilities

• Reading and understanding blueprints.
• On-site meetings for job walk-throughs with customers and subcontractors. The ability to understand and communicate our scope of work to others is crucial.
• Teams meetings with customers and subcontractors to discuss job progress.
• Putting together submittal packages for engineers' approval.
• Securing permits pertaining to projects.
• Ordering equipment and materials needed for projects.
• Working with Field Supervisors to prepare scheduling for jobs.
• Must be proficient in AIA (progressive) billing for larger jobs.
• Providing close out and warranty documents at the end of projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of proven industry experience
• Proficiency in CAD software and technical documentation
• Experience in risk management and scheduling
• Effective client communication skills
• Familiarity with supplier management and procurement processes
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and standards
