Sales Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales of HVAC and hydronic systems, providing technical expertise to our clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the HVAC and hydronic systems market.
- Provide technical support and expertise to clients regarding hydronic, steam, and HVAC systems.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Develop quotation packages and respond to requests for quotations (RFQs) in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients while seeking to expand our customer base.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitor activity.
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies and promotional materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, hydronic systems, and steam theory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and provide effective solutions.
- Experience with inside and outside sales, and developing quotation packages.
- Familiarity with industrial and commercial boilers, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
