Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to lead our team in providing exceptional heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) services. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a proven track record in the HVAC industry. As a supervisor, you will oversee field service operations, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to mentor and guide technicians in their daily tasks.
Duties
• Supervise and coordinate HVAC/R installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to field service technicians.
• Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and develop effective solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored HVAC solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment maintenance.
• Train new staff on best practices for HVAC installation and repair.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with schematics and technical specifications.
Experience
• Proven experience in HVAC/R systems with a strong mechanical background.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
• Experience in plumbing, welding, or boiler operations is a plus.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a field service environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
