Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This position requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems, as well as participating in an on-call rotation for emergency service calls. The ideal candidate will be experienced, customer-focused, and capable of working independently while upholding our high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of HVAC systems.
Provide exceptional customer service and clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and solutions.
Accurately complete service tickets, documentation, and job reports.
Work efficiently and safely while following company policies and industry regulations.
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service calls.
Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and inventory.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as an HVAC service technician (preferred but not required).
EPA 608 certification required.
Strong troubleshooting skills with a customer-first attitude.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation (typically one week per month).
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and handle physically demanding tasks.
