Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our team. The Lead HVAC Installer will be responsible for overseeing and executing HVAC installations with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a two person team to ensure installations are completed safely, accurately, and according to company standards.
• Provide guidance and instruction to team members on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers to schedule installations, allocate resources, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Residental & Commerical equipment installation and replacement
• New construction and remodeling ductwork as needed
• Installation Execution:
• Perform HVAC installations, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and other HVAC components, according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions to plan and execute installations effectively.
• Ensure proper sizing, placement, and alignment of HVAC equipment and components to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct quality inspections of completed installations to verify compliance with company standards, building codes, and customer expectations.
• Identify and resolve installation issues or deficiencies promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and system functionality.
• Document installation activities, including equipment serial numbers, warranty information, and any deviations from original plans.
• Customer Service:
• Interact with customers professionally and courteously, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding the installation process.
• Provide guidance to customers on proper operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, offering recommendations for optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Represent the company positively and uphold its reputation for exceptional service and craftsmanship.
• Training and Development:
• Mentor and train junior HVAC installers, providing instruction on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills development.
• Stay informed about industry advancements, new technologies, and installation techniques, and share knowledge with team members to enhance performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in HVAC installation preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC installation, with demonstrated proficiency in residential and commercial installations.
• Valid HVAC CFC License.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment, components, and installation methods, including familiarity with industry codes and standards.

Pay: $32.12 - $36.20 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
