HVAC Project Manager

Position Overview

The HVAC Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of HVAC projects within the commercial sector. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC project timelines and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to discuss project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
• Prepare and review project budgets, ensuring that costs are monitored and controlled throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project meetings and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including change orders and close-out reports.
• Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Forecast resource needs and allocate staff and equipment effectively to maximize project efficiency.
• Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare bids for new projects and respond to requests for proposals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC project management within the commercial construction industry.
• Proficient understanding of HVAC systems and their installation processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
• Experience with change orders, project close-outs, and estimating is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with school construction projects is a plus.
