JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Estimator and system designer to join our growing team.
As an HVAC Project Estimator, you will play a pivotal role designing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for various projects. You will work with engineers, architects, and clients to design systems that meet project specifications and the customer's needs.
The Commercial HVAC Estimator will be responsible for constructing detailed cost estimates for the projects, including new installations, replacements, & retrofits. This position involves reviewing project specifications, site visits, and working closely with the customer to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create detailed HVAC system designs (load calculations, equipment, ductwork layouts, and piping schematics)
• Work in conjunction with project managers and other team members to ensure designs meet all project goals and requirements
• Create and monitor technical documentation (drawings, reports, & specifications).
• Conduct site visits
• Provide technical support during the project's installation throughout each phase
• Ensure project is budgeted correctly, provide any work order changes as needed
• Oversee projects to ensure deadlines are met
Minimum Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC
• Experience with HVAC design
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD)
• Have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment
• Exceptional communication skulls
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple project at once
• Valid driver's license
