About the Role
• Answer and prioritize incoming service calls, providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Gather detailed information from customers regarding HVAC service requests and emergency situations.
• Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians based on availability, location, and skill set.
• Coordinate effectively with field technicians to ensure timely responses and service delivery.
• Monitor job statuses, adjust schedules as necessary, and communicate updates to customers.
• Handle inquiries about service availability, pricing, and appointment scheduling.
• Keep accurate records of calls, technician schedules, and job status updates.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a call-taking, dispatching, or customer service role (experience in HVAC or related industry preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Comfortable using dispatch software and computer systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and work in a team-oriented environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
