We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Repair Specialist to join our team at Facility Service Provider. The successful candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and journeyman's understanding of modern industrial electrical control systems and PLC.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000, depending on experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing all electrical, mechanical, and control devices associated with the airport's Baggage Handling Systems, Passenger Boarding Bridges, Ground Power Systems, Pre-Conditioned Air Systems, and Potable Water Systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining and repairing all types of HVAC systems and associated components
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as pre-condition air units, roof top units, passenger loading bridges/gate services in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operational manuals, and manufacturer's specifications using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments
• Performing brazing, soldering, pipefitting, welding, and fabrication
• Inspecting, monitoring, repairing, maintaining, and operating mechanical systems, motors, compressors, pumps, fans, ducts, pipes, thermostats, and switches
The ideal candidate will have:
• A high school diploma or vocational school graduate with courses in blue electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration
• A four-year electrician's apprenticeship or prior relevant experience
• CFC Universal Certification
