Hiring experienced and educated HVAC/R technician.
Michigan Mechanical Solutions is a commercial HVAC/R company. We are looking to add another experienced HVAC/R technician to our team. The right applicant will have extensive knowledge and confidence in troubleshooting and installing all types of HVAC/R equipment.
Serviced equipment includes:
• Rooftop Units
• Walk-In Coolers/Freezers
• Ice Machines
• Heat Pumps
• Mini Splits
• Ductwork
• Exhaust Fans
• Commercial Kitchen Equipment (Prep Tables, Reach Ins, ovens, etc..)
• Residential HVAC Equipment (furnaces, boilers, humidifiers, air cleaners, etc..)
• Water heaters (30 gallon - 100 gallon)
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Gas Lines and Venting
Applicants are expected to have HVAC/R knowledge and experience, the other trades are not expected from potential employees, however a willingness to eventually learn and perform these duties is necessary for employment.
Applicant must have own hand tools (screwdrivers, multimeter, gauges, etc...)
Large tools are provided (vacuum pump, recovery machine, recovery cylinder, torches, etc...)
Requirements:
Brazing/Soldering aptitude
HVAC/R system diagnosis
Excellent customer service
Clean appearance and respectful attitude
Clean driving record
EPA Section 608 certified
Ability to communicate clearly using proper terminology and specifics
Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
Quick thinking and decision making
On-call rotation
Follow directions and use safe work practices
Compensation will be based on experience and ability

Work is all over Southeast MI. We have many accounts near Livonia, Detroit, Farmington Hills, and the surrounding areas.
Employees will drive the company provided work vehicle to and from jobs, then home. Must be a motivated, self driven, responsible, and trustworthy individual.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
