Job Overview:
To excel as a Roofing Service Technician at Simon Roofing, you will need to possess a solid understanding of various roofing systems and construction principles. Your primary responsibility will be to identify deficiencies in roofs, perform repairs, and provide recommendations for preventative maintenance. In this role, you must be willing to receive training to perform the necessary duties.
A strong ability to communicate effectively with customers, both internal and external, is essential. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills. Additionally, you should have a strong attention to detail and be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the day.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of commercial roofing experience or relevant construction experience. A valid driver's license is also required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Travel may be required, including up to three to four weeks out of town and state. The ability to work weekends and overtime when necessary is also expected.
