We are seeking a Geothermal HVAC Installation & Service Technician to join our team at EcoMech Geothermal & Mechanical in the Atlanta, Georgia area. As a geothermal heatpump system specialist, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining geothermal heatpump HVAC systems for residential and commercial properties.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience with a licensed HVAC company, knowledge of heat-pumps, and ownership of hand tools or willingness to obtain them. They should also possess a cool demeanor, ability to thrive in a sometimes-stressful work environment, and familiarity with mechanical systems and new construction. Various licenses and certifications are a bonus and may be required for certain types of work.
Key responsibilities include independently executing service jobs, articulating and documenting issues for customers, following through on promises and commitments, performing startups on previously roughed equipment, managing installation work, and potentially managing the installation and tie-in of geothermal loops.
