Are you a highly motivated and organized individual looking for a new challenge? Do you have a background in HVAC or automotive repair? If so, we encourage you to apply for the position of Shop Helper at our Auburn Pump and Motor Repair Shop.
In this role, you will work closely with our Pump Mechanics to assist with various tasks such as cleaning, painting, testing, binning, partially disassembling AC/DC motors and pumps. You will also be responsible for maintaining service truck tools, safety equipment, instruments, and materials specific to pump, motor, and equipment maintenance and repairs.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess strong communication skills. Additionally, they should be physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
Key Responsibilities
• Support Mechanics with daily tasks such as cleaning, painting, testing, binning, partially disassembling AC/DC motors and pumps.
• Maintain Service Truck Equipment, including safety equipment, instruments, and materials specific to pump, motor, and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure Cleanliness of shop areas and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with Inventory Management on the service truck.
