About the Role
This position offers a competitive starting salary of $60,000 per year. As a Systems Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for performing system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. You'll troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems, as well as respond to basic warranty calls.
Responsibilities
• Leverage system-level controller software to loads and perform diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices.
• Complete all required commissioning documentation and keep management informed of job progress and issues.
• Collaborate with customers to provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need a 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or a similar field. Alternatively, you can demonstrate at least 2 years of industry experience or experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
You should possess strong interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner. Additionally, you'll need to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical people and lead the activities of Mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical Building Automation equipment on a job site.
