About the Role
The Account Manager is a 100% commission-based position, eligible for draws. This means that your earning potential is directly tied to your performance and ability to meet sales targets. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating sales agreements. A successful candidate will be highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collect project data and compare it to CMS's capabilities
Develop relationships with multiple buying influences in the customer's organization
Build partnering relationships with contractors and consultants to drive the sales of CMS offerings
Determine project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet customers' HVAC system design and installation requirements
Responsible for project take-off, selection, and pricing of equipment and services
Develop project fulfillment schedules and manage projects from start to finish
Review and compare contract terms and conditions with CMS contract standards
Determine customer needs and develop an account-specific business plan
Assist in the development of CMS sales and marketing plans and strategies
Cordinate with consulting engineers in writing project specifications
Negotiate value, address resistance, and close sales
Provide technical support to customers on HVAC systems, CMS products, and system application alternatives
Estimated salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
