Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at CIS Industries LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex commercial HVAC systems.
Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and repairing issues with large-scale commercial HVAC equipment, including variable refrigerant flow systems, dedicated outside air units, hot water boilers, computer room units, water source heat pumps, packaged rooftops, and split DX units.
Main Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair complex commercial HVAC systems.
• Install, evacuate, and charge refrigerant systems.
• Operate instruments to acquire data such as temperature, humidity, static pressure, voltage, amperage, and air flow.
• Familiarity with control systems, including wiring, thermostats, and end devices.
• Effective communication with customers and colleagues.
• Able to read wiring schematics and diagrams for all equipment.
• Present training material to owners and contractors.
• Document service activities through work orders, maintenance checklists, and daily time sheets.
Expected Qualifications:
• Associate degree or equivalent from a Technical / Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning and two (2) years related experience; or five (2) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office software and working knowledge of handheld computers.
• Valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations for the previous 5 years.
• EPA Certification.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include paid vacation, 401K match program up to 4% of gross pay, Safe Harbor company contribution 3% of your annual salary, a company supplemented health insurance program, plus employer-paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability.
