Georgia Air and Refrigeration Services Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC Repair Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site installation, repairs, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment and HVAC systems. The Role:
As an HVAC Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, walk-in coolers/freezers, dish machines, fryers, mixers, tilt skillets, and HVAC systems. You will also oversee all network services, perform tests on equipment and circuits, and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with customers and ensure their needs are met.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or GED, with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment. Relevant certifications such as EPA 608, CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Associate) in gas, electrical, steam, refrigeration, or electrical are highly desirable. Additionally, you must be able to lift up to 55 pounds, have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and pass a satisfactory background and drug screening.
