Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities
• Running comprehensive diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to diagnose issues.
• Analyzing test results to determine necessary repairs or replacements.
• Maintaining accurate records of serviced vehicles and interacting with customers.
• Repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components as needed.
• Performing routine maintenance on service trucks to ensure optimal performance.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering and ASE Diesel Certification is highly advantageous. Additionally, they must be physically fit, possess advanced knowledge of diesel engine components, and have excellent verbal communication skills.
