A Highly Skilled HVAC Mechanic is required to maintain and repair complex refrigeration and mechanical systems at the University of Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high-voltage electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Salary and Benefits:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $63,000 per year, along with an excellent benefits package including 27 days of paid time off, 14 paid holidays, and healthcare plan options. Responsibilities:
This role involves inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating, and installing mechanical refrigeration and equipment, air conditioning, heating, compressed air, and vacuum systems. You will work on specialized lab equipment, install and repair electronic and pneumatic equipment, and maintain records of repairs and replacements. Additionally, you may clear ice and snow from sidewalks and streets using hand tools and/or heavy equipment.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 24 months of refrigeration experience, and hold current State of Oklahoma HVAC License, Federal EPA refrigeration certification, and a valid Oklahoma Driver's License. You should also have knowledge of tools used to repair and maintain refrigeration systems, HVAC codes/permits, and safety rules and regulations.
