About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC/R Systems Efficiency Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead our HVAC/R operations and ensure optimal efficiency of our fleet of Budderfly units.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment. You will also diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, complete commissioning checks, and provide physical maintenance to our HVAC units.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working as a service technician on HVAC/R systems, hold an HVAC/R Contractor License, and possess knowledge of HVAC controls. They will be customer-focused, able to work independently, and possess excellent verbal and written skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and repairing HVAC/R systems and equipment
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
• Completing commissioning checks of HVAC units
• Providing physical maintenance to HVAC units
• Responding to emergency service calls
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems
• Keeping daily logs and records
