Job Title: Start-Up & Commissioning Technician
Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $95,000 per year.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC technician to join our team as a start-up and commissioning specialist. This role involves working on various commercial HVAC projects, ensuring that all equipment is properly installed, started up, and functioning efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
• Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC systems, including electrical, controls, and refrigerant circuit diagnostics.
• Document all work performed, including start-ups, commissioning, and repairs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure quality control measures are met.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
Qualifications:
• Tech school graduate or successful completion of an HVAC Apprenticeship program.
• HVAC Journeyman or Master's license.
• Universal CFC Certification.
• At least 5 years of commercial HVAC experience at the Journeyman level.
