HVAC Installer Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC installer to join our team. As an HVAC installer, you will be responsible for installing air conditioning systems and associated equipment, identifying maintenance risks on equipment, and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Installing Air Conditioning Systems: You will install air conditioning systems and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Maintenance Risk Identification: You will identify potential maintenance risks on equipment to prevent costly repairs and ensure the longevity of the system.
• Fault Diagnosis: You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems to quickly resolve issues and minimize downtime.
• Technical Direction and On-the-Job Training: You will receive technical direction and participate in on-the-job training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Tool Maintenance: You will maintain the cleanliness and organization of company trucks, tools, and equipment.
• Compliance and Customer Service: You will ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, as well as provide excellent customer service by assisting with customers' questions, concerns, and satisfaction.
Requirements:
• Experience: You must have experience in installing and working on package units, condensers, air handlers, and ductwork.
• Physical Demands: You must be able to work in hot attics and confined spaces.
• Tools and Equipment: You must have all the necessary tools required to complete work daily.
• Schedule: You will work full-time Monday through Friday (occasional weekend work for installs).
• Pay: Your salary will depend on your experience, and we offer one of the highest pay rates in the area, including spiffs and bonuses.
