Apartment Maintenance/HVAC Technician
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apartment Maintenance/HVAC Technician to join our team at Pacific Western Corp/Property Services in Henderson, NV.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with an office team to ensure resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform full HVAC services including inspections, troubleshooting, charging, recovering Freon, replacing compressors, brazing, soldering, and welding.
• Install new units and perform all other duties related to unit turns and property maintenance.
• Conduct plumbing repairs, electric repairs (110 volt-220-volt systems), appliance repairs, building repairs, PVC, copper, ABS repairs and installation, irrigation systems, soldering, welding, and oxygen acetylene torches.
• Repair and service pool filtration systems, dry wall, patch and installation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating (if certified), roof repairs, slab leaks, carpet and vinyl floor repairs, lock and key service including maintenance and re-keying, painting, carpentry, apartment turnovers, and general landscape maintenance.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA Certification.
• 2 years' of experience in Apartment, hotel, or construction/handyman or general maintenance/contractor experience.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
• Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Able to plan, organize and follow through on work.
• Friendly, personable, and professional demeanor at all times.
• Self-starter who demonstrates professionalism and can work independently.
