HVAC / Boiler Service Technician - Commercial & Industrial
">Compensation Package:
We are offering a competitive hourly rate of up to $42 per hour, depending on experience. This includes a signing bonus of $3,500 paid after 90 days of employment.
About the Position:
This field-based role involves troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, retrofitting, and making recommendations as needed to return customer boilers, burners, and controls to fully functional condition.
Responsibilities:
• Work primarily at customer locations throughout the region, completing internal and external inspections of boilers, burners, and associated controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial and commercial Boilers and associated burner/control systems.
• Perform hydrostatic testing of boilers, troubleshoot and repair industrial burners, and evaluate basic boiler room systems (steam and hydronic).
• Respond to service calls and complete assigned jobs to completion, working with limited supervision much of the time.
• Participate in an on-call service rotation.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in troubleshooting and servicing boilers from light commercial to industrial water-tube and Co-generation applications.
• Hands-on ability for combustion set up and analysis, as well as troubleshooting skills to determine and adjust a full range of burners from .5 to 30 Million BTU/HR input.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with industry-specific vocabulary and basic mathematics, algebra, and formula knowledge.
• Ability to travel within the region approximately 10% of the time.
