The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Residential HVAC Technician to join our team. As a technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment to ensure our customers' homes stay cool and comfortable. This is a true technician position – there's no sales pressure, just the satisfaction of fixing problems and keeping our customers happy.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in residential AC units (under 6 tons) in both water source and split system applications.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.
• Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining issues and solutions to homeowners.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
• EPA 608 certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Benefits:
• $65,000 - $80,000 per year salary, depending on experience
