About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic and Repair Technician to join our maintenance team at Fairmont Grand Del Mar. This is a unique opportunity to work in a luxury hotel resort environment, where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial laundry equipment.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, with experience working on commercial laundry equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and repairing or replacing defective parts as needed.
You will work closely with other departments to ensure timely and effective laundry services, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record may be required.
Responsibilities
• Conduct regular inspections of commercial laundry equipment to identify potential malfunctions or areas in need of repair.
• Perform routine maintenance on laundry equipment, such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustment of parts.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, folders, and ironers.
• Repair or replace defective laundry equipment parts, such as belts, bearings, motors, and electrical components.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years of experience in commercial laundry equipment repair and maintenance experience.
• Must be able to read Engineering drawings and technical literature.
