About the Role
American Residential Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team. In this critical leadership position, you'll be responsible for overseeing HVAC Service Technicians, defining strategies for success, and driving performance.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $115-$125k/year, commensurate with experience, plus an annual bonus opportunity based on performance. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize team performance and achieve business goals
• Manage and develop service staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Evaluate workload and schedule services to maximize profits and customer satisfaction
• Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Create and manage budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation
• Maintain inventory, tools, and vehicles to ensure optimal operational efficiency
• Review payroll records to ensure accurate payment and compliance
• Oversee facility and equipment maintenance to ensure a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 6-8 years of experience in a service industry company
• HVAC industry experience and knowledge required, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles
• Valid driver's license for business travel
• Strong leadership, communication, computer, and mathematical skills to excel in this role
