Job Description
The HVAC Service Manager will lead staff members to install, repair and maintain heating and air conditioning systems in commercial and light industrial settings. This involves working with service and install technicians, maintaining efficient department operations, and dispatching personnel.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills are essential for this role.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in HVAC management-related roles or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, particularly in commercial and industrial settings.
• Tech Skills: Ability to read, interpret, utilize and train on manuals, schematics, and control circuits.
• Leadership: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage conflict and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other general software applications.
