Join Our Team: HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
We are seeking an experienced HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our Maintenance Mechanic team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a key contributor to our company's success, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial refrigeration systems, working closely with colleagues and supervisors to meet shared goals and deadlines.
Main Responsibilities:
• Undertake emergency and non-emergency repairs on commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, applying expert troubleshooting and safety techniques
• Execute thorough preventative maintenance programs for commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, addressing any issues promptly
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers to resolve queries and provide solutions efficiently
Essential Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems independently
• EPA Universal Certification and a state-accredited refrigeration license are highly valued qualifications
