Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to join our team in Boston. As a key member of our Commercial Interiors sector, you will be responsible for leading the technical development of HVAC systems for large and complex projects.
With a strong background in designing high-performance HVAC systems, you will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional results. Your responsibilities will include formulating design criteria, performing calculations, developing concept designs, specifications, and construction documents for high-performance building systems.
You will also oversee junior engineers, supervise and effectively manage technical development throughout all phases of design, and develop mechanical plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the technical development of HVAC systems for large and complex projects.
• Formulate design criteria, perform calculations, and develop concept designs.
• Develop specifications and construction documents for high-performance building systems.
• Oversee junior engineers and supervise technical development.
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience designing HVAC systems in high-performance facilities.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Estimated Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year
