About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator (Piping and Plumbing) to join our team at McKenney's Inc. As a key member of our construction department, you will be responsible for estimating costs for HVAC projects across various sectors, including healthcare, life sciences, office, and hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of accurate and timely estimates while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Accountabilities:
• Develop detailed estimates for HVAC projects, considering factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure seamless bid processes and construction progress.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing clear and concise information on estimate details and project status.
• Source and qualify material and subcontractor bids, adhering to project documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Building Construction Management, or equivalent; 5+ years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in mechanical trades.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary Information:$65,000 - $85,000 per year.
