• *Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Dispatcher to join our team at Maxair Mechanical. As a dispatcher, you will be responsible for receiving and managing incoming service calls from customers, coordinating the assignment of service technicians to scheduled work orders and emergency service calls, and scheduling work orders based on the expected complexity of the call against the capabilities of the available technician.

Maxair Mechanical is a commercial HVAC, plumbing, and controls service provider serving the greater Atlanta area. Our company provides ongoing service and new construction (typically tenant retrofit) throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Receiving and managing all service customer calls
• Coordinating the assignment of service technicians to scheduled work orders and emergency service calls
• Scheduling work orders based on the expected complexity of the call against the capabilities of the available technician
• Tracking and updating the computerized dispatch board based on work order completion
• Managing equipment, special tools, vehicles, and parts needs for the service department
• Maintaining liaison with the service manager and the service accountant on problem accounts receivables
• Working with other department managers and employees in support of all facets of the service department
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role; commercial HVAC industry experience a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and operations software

• Base salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
