About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled HVAC Controls Specialist to join our team in Chicago, IL. As a key member of our Mission Critical group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing building automation systems, performing calculations, and providing technical assistance during commissioning at project sites.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Building Automation System (BAS) or mechanical HVAC engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program is required, and a PE license in Mechanical or Instrumentation & Controls is preferred.
You will work closely with our team to develop Sequences of Operations and Point Lists for HVAC control and electrical monitoring of equipment and systems. You will also create engineering drawings for control panel and field wiring designs, including installation details, bill of material, and P&IDs.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Building Automation System (BAS) or mechanical HVAC engineering
• PE license in Mechanical or Instrumentation & Controls (preferred)
Estimated salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year. Schedule: Full-time. Travel: Yes, 15% of the time.
