Job Overview
The Ladgov Corporation is seeking a skilled High Pressure Boiler Technician to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of high-pressure boilers, ensuring safe and efficient steam delivery to various campus buildings.
Responsibilities:
• Performs routine maintenance tasks on high-pressure boilers, including lighting off, warming up, and shutting down
• Fires on each of the available fuels; natural gas and diesel fuel oil
• Operates all plant equipment and controls, including start-up and shutdown
• Maintains water quality to protect the equipment and piping from damage
Requirements:
• Valid City of Chicago Stationary Engineer's License, with 5 years' experience working with high pressure boilers
• OSHA training
• Ability to perform heavy work, climb ladders, and function safely while wearing a respirator
Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 per year (based on experience)
