Position Summary:

Responsible for handling customer needs and processing orders in a timely manner

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Build and Maintain customer relationships* • Assist customers with past document invoices • Quote prices and prepare sales orders • Determine the make, type, quality and availability of desired merchandise and make suggestions that meet the customer’s needs • Document orders by entering proper information to generate an accurate invoice for pick up or delivery • Accurately locate and pick products for order fulfillment • Estimate date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules • Evaluate disposition of warranty items handled at the counter following manufacturer’s policy and procedures as well as customer’s needs • Maintain neat and professional work area • Promote company sales initiatives • Assist in receiving, shipping, and warehouse activities • React positively to change* • Other duties as assigned; excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Good reasoning ability and sound judgement. Good interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office products. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity. Able to lift 50 pounds and operate a forklift. Able to pass a drug test and background screening.
