We are seeking an HVAC Mechanic Apprentice to join our team on a full-time basis. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity for candidates to develop their skills and knowledge in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

About the Role

The successful candidate will perform maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Key responsibilities include: • Assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and equipment specifications • Performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and documenting findings • Troubleshooting issues with HVAC equipment • Operating hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities • Assisting with inventory tracking and reporting for HVAC supplies and parts • Responding to urgent maintenance requests and assisting in emergency repairs • Participating actively in safety and skills training as directed • Complying with safety standards, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements • Performing general site clean-up and organization tasks as directed by the supervisor

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need: • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills and ability to work within an industrial setting • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • A valid driver's license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates with industry-standard HVAC certifications or licenses (EPA Section 608, OSHA) and 1-2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment will be highly regarded.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
