KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Review plans and specifications • Generate take-offs using on-screen takeoff software • Utilize manufacturers’ selection and pricing software • Actively monitor and handle the Estimating email account • Produce detailed and accurate quotations for customers, ahead of bid due dates • Participate in web-based, local, and manufacturer training programs • Learn and stay up to date with HVAC product applications and advancements • Follow MAP Estimating standards including: completing Spec Reviews, saving all documents in RepEdge, and utilizing standard pricing spreadsheets and quotation documents • Collaborate with salespeople • Coordinate with MAP estimators • Communicate regularly with MAP customers, especially contractor estimating departments • Assist new team members with technical questions and MAP standards
