The HVAC Mechanic shall have a minimum of 10 years experience. This position requires travel to multiple sites throughout Maryland. The shift is Monday - Friday. Must have your own vehicle. • Operate and perform Preventive Maintenance of HVAC systems and subsystems. • Perform Refrigerant recovery and recycling. • Operate Building Energy Management System (EMS) and associated building controls. • Interface with building managers and other customer representatives to ensure client satisfaction. • Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders. • Place and/or remove systems, hardware, and equipment as required. • Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications • High School degree or equivalent. • 10 years experience working on commercial HVAC systems. • Completed coursework in HVAC areas. • Must have working knowledge of 480V and below electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing systems. • Universal CFC Certification. • Must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Building Operations. • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor. • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment. • Valid driver's license.
